Married to a US citizen but about to divorce.?

Amadi Asked: Married to a US citizen but about to divorce.?

Just wondering what is gonna happen right now, my SEVIS was terminated for not enrolling in a single semester and did not report to the school, i did not get any information or message from the school that it has been terminated until i was enrolled back in spring semester since summer is not that compulsory for Internationals. After 3 weeks for enrolling back at the spring semester, the school international specialist sent me an email saying that i have been terminated but my visa and my student record is still valid. So now am legally married to a US citizen, she was really ready for the marriage, but after 5 days of the marriage then she changed her mind that she wanna divorce because she still wants her ex boyfriend back…So right now what should i do?

Broke off a wonderful relationship because of his parents…?

Sosoo Asked: Broke off a wonderful relationship because of his parents…?

I dated this guy for almost 11 months. GREAT guy, great chemistry and respect and very effective communication. We had no major (not even minor) problem and we loved each other very much. We were very logical and compatible, even took many marriage counseling sessions to check the compatibility. Everything was fine. However, theres a huge problem. His parents!
We are both 28. Work in the same engineering field and are both moral and mature people. I was married once when I was 18, and the guy turned out to be abusive and unhealthy to me. I didnt have much control over the situation and didnt know the guy until we got married. I was also very very immature for a committed relationship like marriage. I moved to US for 4 years after the divorce, and now its been a little over year that I am back and working here in Iran.
Since we live in Iran, he has talked to his parents about me and Ive met his mom too. But his dad does not approve of me and has asked to talk to my ex husband (I havent even met his dad yet). BUT my ex has not told the truth to his parents. He said the marriage took only a year (but it took 4 years in which we lived in the same house for 2 years). So even if his dad wants to talk to my ex, my ex bf cant handle that. (we never lie and I was devastated when he told me he lied to his parents about my past)
I broke off the relationship with him yesterday because I know how this issue can really break the relationship off eventually, and we will never be able to get married. I asked him to let our parents meet completely and then start a true relationship again.
The fact is, we had NO problem, no argues. We agreed in almost everything. I loved him, how he treated me, how he respected me (he even respected my wish to never have sex or have any sexual touch before marriage) and it was the most beautiful time of my life after divorce. Although we never got physical, we were extremely close and we were each others best friends. Ive been soul searching for the past few years and never been as compatible to anybody else. I dont really know what to do 🙁 Hes my coworker and obviously he wont be over me for a long long time (but whats the point?! We will never be able to get married if he doesnt stand up). Do you think I did the best thing?

Am i just too paranoid?

killingmesoftly Asked: Am i just too paranoid?

Husband and I are married 2 years now. Before we got married we were in a long distance relationship as I came from my native asian country. He got divorced in his previous marriage march 2005.We met online 2007.And then meet in person year 2008.I got pregnant to our daughter and gave birth there.Anyway,to make the story short, we arrive in the US july 2009 and we got married oct.2009 .My question arises when I happened to get curious about something I want to know.Anything that feeds my curiosity. And this curiosity leads to something
suspicions and skepticisms. This is about his paycheck attached on a federal filing tax .On his paycheck ,the federal filing status says he was married and the date on the paycheck stub was Dec.2007 which doesn't make sense to me that he was single march 2008 and then married Dec.2008.From what I knew, I had evidently seen the document stating his dissolution of marriage that was finalize march 2005.I think he already mentioned about this before or just I didn't understand?but it really didn't bother me at all during those times after we met in person in my country.I trusted him so much and didn't have doubts about him.Until we are together as a real couple. We got married OcT.2009.
But my question is ,how come his paycheck says the filing status was married on the year 2007 and then march 2008 says single and then on dec.2008 is married again?I don't understand about this.He is working in the other state right now.He gets home every weekend on his days off.Just earlier today before he left we had a fight. We just don't get along well. Our marriage has been pretty rocky right now.I don't know is this such a big deal to confront about it?Am i just idiot or paranoid? To justify what i feel ,I feel that he is still holding onto his past ,previous marriage.I googled his exwife's myspace status says married when she hasn't been remarried .I feel that my husband still has unresolved issues with her or maybe he is still inlove with her?We are living in their dream house according to him.Which was built 2004 then got divorced 2005.But let's go back to the paycheck status thing can someone put his/her status married although he's already divorce?Just curious.Any insights about this? Please feel free to comment.

feeling animal magnetism for a man?

iammyselfandi Asked: feeling animal magnetism for a man?

Ok. I'm stuck in a boring marriage. Husband isn't interested in sex, and he's always galavanting with women. I'm tired of being along. I've asked for a divorce but he won't leave. He says he is happy. But I am now. I tried staying with him and everything for the sake of our kids, but I don't know if I can do this forever.

I'm so bored with my life that recently a man at a cafe I go to for reading. etc. caught my attention. He was very social and talkative, intelligent and kind of hot in an animal sort of way. I can't stop thinking about him. I love my child so I don't want to do anything, but every thought I have I have about this random guy. It's driving me up the way. He has an amazing voice. I'm drawn to his confidence….everything. I feel like an animal in heat.

How to get out of this situation? I don't want to have affairs.

Is it best to avoid romantic relationships…?

Bobby Asked: Is it best to avoid romantic relationships…?

And just stay single for life? no this isn't some dramatic emo question, I really have a theory here. The current US divorce rate is approximately 50% of marriages. That is, about 1 in 2 marriages can be expected to end in divorce.
We don't know what leads these people to divorce, but we can assume it's some kind of drama that one would prefer to avoid in life right?
I'm 21 and all I hear about people my age talking about is who cheated on who. I swear to God in my generation it seems like cheating on your boyfriend/girlfriend is like breathing, its no big deal. It's disgusting and offensive how much this cultures morals have eroded.

Point being, it would be much easier to just stay alone and avoid all of the drama, pain, sadness and nonsense of being in a relationship.
I've managed to stay single all my 21 years and I'm a happy man, though my nights may be lonely I know I won't have to deal with betrayal and heartbreak. And I hear all my friends talking about how their girlfriend cheated on them or how their boyfriend flirts with other girls and the list just goes on and on.
